Jakarta, Batamist.id – Indonesia, Musyawarah Nasional Luar Biasa (Munaslub) 2025 secara sah mengganti nama Persatuan Senam Indonesia (Persani) menjadi Federasi Gimnastik Indonesia (FGI) berikut mars organisasi tersebut.
“Saya mengapresiasi dan memberikan penghormatan yang setinggi-tingginya, terhadap transformasi organisasi PB.Persani menjadi Federasi Gimnastik Indonesia (FGI).,” kata Ketum Komite Olahraga Nasional Indonesia (KONI) Pusat Letjen TNI Purn Marciano Norman.
“Sosialisasi untuk penyesuaian di tingkat provinsi dan kabupaten/kota harus dilakukan dengan baik. AD/ART juga dapat disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan pembinaan saat ini.,” sambungnya.
Organisasi menjadi kunci untuk lahirnya atlet berprestasi melalui sejumlah programnya, yang dijalankan pengurus yang solid. Perubahan organisasi menjadi FGI diharapkan mampu dimanfaatkan jadi momentum.
“Prestasi yang dilahirkan tidak terlepas dari tata kelola organisasi yang baik, oleh karenanya agenda kali ini harus mampu menjadi momentum bagi senam Indonesia yang lebih berprestasi.,” tambahnya.
Senam sendiri turut dipertandingkan pada SEA Games di Thailand akhir tahun 2025, KONI Pusat berharap gimnastik mampu mempersembahkan prestasi yang gemilang. Selain itu, sebagai salah satu cabang olahraga Olimpiade, Senam perlu mempersiapkan pada Pekan Olahraga Nasional (PON) XXII/2028 NTB-NTT, PON Indoor & PON Remaja.
Ketum FGI Ita Yuliati, alasan transformasi tersebut yakni sebagai bagian dari redefinisi cabang olahraga gimnastik di Indonesia.
Di Tanah Air, senam sering dikaitkan dengan aktivitas kebugaran massal, sementara gimnastik merupakan olahraga yang melibatkan keseimbangan, kekuatan, fleksibilitas, kelincahan, koordinasi, seni, dan daya tahan.
“Agar tidak terjadi kesalahpahaman, kami mengusulkan pergantian nama sehingga dapat lebih fokus memperkenalkan gimnastik sebagai olahraga yang kompleks dan kompetitif,” kata Ita dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Senin (10/3/2025).
“Dengan perubahan nama menjadi Federasi Gimnastik Indonesia dan Mars Gimnastik Indonesia, kami berharap cabang olahraga gimnastik ini bisa semakin dikenal di masyarakat,” ujar Ira.
“Semangat baru ini juga diharapkan dapat mengobarkan atlet-atlet muda kita untuk berjuang mengibarkan Merah Putih dan mengumandangkan Indonesia Raya di panggung dunia,” tegas Ira. (lmt)
